A Very Nutty Baklava

Baklava 1

I’m nuts about nuts. But I think I may have gone overboard with the nuts when I made this baklava. Not only did I use more nuts than the recipe but I also used a smaller pan than the recipe, which meant I had to layered on the nuts. I had about 9 layers of nuts!

Baklava recipe adapted from Simply Recipes. The recipe used 2 layers of filo pastry in between and 8 layers on top, which I didn’t think was enough for my liking. You see, I’m also nuts about pastry. :)
